Do you want to use the Email Finder website but you are not sure about whether or not it really works? This is a reverse lookup site that apparently allows you to track down the owner of any email address. You may want to do this to find your lost friends or you want to deal with a spammer. 1. How to Do a Reverse Search by Yourself? The first thing that you would look out for is whether the sender's name of the mail is included with it. This is usually not the case, after which you would want to check with the e-mail service website to find the name of the person registered with it. If this information is also not available, you will need to use third party services such as Email Finder to help you. 2. Does the Email Finder Website Really Work? This company charges its members a small one time fee to use its services. Members can do as many reverse searches as they want once they have joined up. As far as I know from my research, there are very few companies that provide this type of service on the internet, so I am very glad that I found Email Finder eventually. Once I entered the e-mail address that I was looking up, the website found the name of the owner as well as the person's contact information within seconds. 3. Doing a Reverse Email Search on the Search Engines Mails that come from companies like MSN, Google and Yahoo are much harder to track. However, if the domain of the e-mail is a company name like businessname.com, you can try looking them up in the search engines. If you manage to track down the company, you can then decide whether you want to contact them to ask about the unknown emails you are receiving. This method usually works as company domains are listed in the search engines. Otherwise, you can always rely on a reverse lookup service like Email Finder.
