Gooruze is inspired by those who are seeking a challenging and rewarding community to share and learn. It is designed to provide a rich dialogue and exchange of advice. As professionals we should challenge thinking and concepts but we should not make our challenges personal or insulting. Constructive non personal feedback is best.

Your rights as a member of Gooruze…

1. You have the right to vote on any areas within the site as you wish.
2. You have the right to respond to ANY contact/email/query by other members asking about your voting methods. As well as having the right, not to respond. You have the right to forward copies to Gooruze support and then delete those emails questioning your voting methods. Gooruze support wants to know immediately of ANY emails questioning your voting methods and actions.
3. You have the right not to be coerced by a member or other members to vote in a certain way, this will result in immediate termination of that member/s.
4. You have the right not to bullied or attacked via email or bullied or attacked personally on the site.
5. You have the right to report any member that breaches your rights as a member of Gooruze and this breach will be seriously investigated.

The Gooruze House Rules

1. Respect others. If you see disrespectful behavior, report it, rather than further inflaming the situation.
2. Add Value. Before you write, rank, tag or comment, ask yourself if your contribution increases the strength and virtue of the community.
3. No copycats. Make sure your content is your own and if you have used other content you must link back to the original source. See copyright rules.
4. No self promotion. Gooruze is for collaborative advice and experience, not self-promotion. Posting full articles which also appear on your blog is acceptable but purely seeding your own links is not.
5. Accurate. Keep your titles accurate and free of sensationalistic language, the community will appreciate it.
6. Post in English. Although full internationalization is important to Gooruze, please keep all posts and comments in English until the website is launched in other languages.
7. Be tidy. Keep Gooruze tidy by tagging for accuracy rather than for readership, editing titles to be compact and descriptive, and referencing your contribution to the original source in a respectful and legal manner where applicable.

What happens if someone breaks the House Rules?

We will ask you to remove the offending material, and in serious cases we will remove it ourselves. Breaching copyright, defaming an individual and being in contempt of court are serious offences and we will block individuals from using the site if they serially offend. Remember: When in doubt, leave it out!
