November 2007 I totally agree with your Big3 dead, but not for all visitors segment ! Is this a personal view from someone working in this industry or a real new report from online adverstiment market?
If I think about myself, I did'nt click on a banner for a while (last was maybe for the first jeep cherokee... ah ah) and my eyes don't see PPC links... that's not a reason why I think these way of marketing should be stopped. I rather not read the ads in newspaper and mute TV during commercial... but fact is that big advertisers continue to use this kind of methods because it works on people. I confirm, my last Adwords campaign boosted visit and conversion up to 500% So let's wait for this new outlet, buzz still work ;-) Reply
