I would like to hear what other people have run into that you have personally witnessed or feel strongly about that emphasizes the fact that, Google is the all knowing.

Here are some examples:

Google knows if you own multiple domain names

Google knows if you have several sites on the same IP

Google reads javascript and external javascript files to check to see if you are trying to deceive the engines - I have seen this when a site was banned in google and after we contacted google to find our why, google's reply was that the client needed to make changes to their external javascript file. Not sure the exact wording, but it had something to do with hidden text.

I do not have proof of this one, but I believe it is true. This one stirred up a lot of stuff when designers got involved...
I believe when you change thefont size of a H1 tag either through CSS or any other means you will not receive the SEO benefits of it being an H1 tag. You wont get penalized, you just wont get the higher weight for SEO purposes.

Google is getting a better understanding of duplicate content due to dynamic pages and will no long penalize your site for it.

Google knows the difference between an actual store store site and an affilaite website and URL's
