Branding Promotion Ideas on iPod

The automatic feed feature inherent with podcasts are what makes podcasting a great method for ongoing contact with your audience. Since it’s much easier to get your posts through a feed subscription than to visit the site, you’ll find more consistent audience members. On top of that, transferring your message to your audience becomes much simpler and you might even find that you have more control over your reach.

For those reasons, promoting your brand via the iPod may be feasible and viable aspect of your marketing strategy. What’s up and coming is that the iPod is now getting into automobiles. As an option, you can add an Apple iPod player into just about any vehicle of your choice – American or foreign! It’s amazing to see what technology is doing and how this will eventually change radio. Knowing that, how prepared are you to take advantage of podcasting? Here are some simple branding ideas to incorporate into your podcasting.

  1. You don’t have to take out a 5 minute ad. You can simply incorporate your brand name and / or slogan at various intervals in your podcast recording (i.e. – the beginning and the end of your podcast).
  2. Additionally, your podcast can talk about related information about your product or service that you offer. Talk about the benefits of that your product or service offers. Talk about the industry you’re in. This establishes credibility as a knowledgeable source – also one of the benefits of podcasting.
  3. You can also provide some form of entertainment or other interactive experiences on your podcast. Partner with another company and provide dual benefit to your subscriber. For example, you might host your message with a complementing song artist.
  4. You can string multiple podcasts from related sources. Get partners in the same field to work on your podcasting project with you.
  5. Get on someone else’s podcast. Soliciting your brand or having yourself mentioned in someone else’s podcasts sets your credibility up as an industry leader. Take advantage of any opportunities that come your way.

There are many opportunities for your branding promotion using a podcast. The subscriber feature of RSS feeds makes for a more consistent audience base that can help you gain the branding recognition you desire. Get creative and innovative about using podcasts and don’t be afraid to network or partner with others in your field to get something going! Podcasts are a great way to enhance whatever you’ve already got going on.
