A few people have been wondering how to syndicate their blogs (blogs outside of Gooruze) into the community. As it's a great way to get more exposure and share your content with the Gooruze community - here's a simple step by step guide to syndicating your blog feed.

Assuming you're already a member (if not - join up first):

Step 1 - Visit your member page. If you're logged in, your Gooruze name near the "getting started" button at the top of the site will take your there.

Step 2 - Click the "blog feed" link in the left hand side navigation bar - its near the bottom.

Step 3 - Enter your blog's feed URL (normally an RSS or atom feed) into the Feed Address field.

Step 4 - Select whether you want your blog posts displayed in full. By selecting no - Gooruze will only display a snippet of each post.

Step 5 - Take a copy the verification URL displayed (it should look something like rene-lemerle.gooruze.com in bold) and keep it handy to insert in your verification blog post.

Step 6 - Click "SAVE"

Step 7 (last one) - Then publish a new post on your blog (the one associated to the feed above) and make sure to include a copy of your verification URL (as text) in the first couple of paragraphs.

Once you've published the post, the Gooruze system will find your blog, and verifiy your feed.

VOILA - it's that easy!

note: be patient - the gooruze system can take a little while to find your blog, so don't panic if it's not instant.
