Thanks for all your feedback we released an update over the weekend.

For the observant - news is now SEO friendly with title descriptions and alt tags. We have complied with google news conditions so hopefully will get included.

Meanwhile feel free to share your seo suggestions and we will take on board.

Greywolf gave me a tip once about getting into google news, he claimed it helps to have #'s as page names vs, text. No idea if it holds much weight, any other thoughts?

Also I don't see the updated title tags in the news section.

add groups to that list of subsections w/o title tags.

There's not much on the site that has any description or keyword tags, and the title tag is pretty much "Gooruze" everywhere on the site. That makes bookmarks, SERP links, all that pretty much a guessing game as to what a page is about.

I am also a big fan of putting the site name at the end of the title tag for usability and SEO purposes.

yes - thanks - we noticed that 
news is the latest addition to the vibEngine so this is it's first public release... has a couple small bugs/improvements to come
