July 27th Don't have answer, fairly new here. I've noticed a very high-quality of posts but wonder if lack of "exposure" is the reason for lack of activity. I've been trying to "figure Gooruze out"... Are people writing duplicate content off their own blogs? If not, why post here vs. their own site, possibly wondering same as debi-zxiy. Reply

July 28th Dana, in terms of activity, our goals were to drive organic exposure and use some simple "stream" SMO strategies to drive exposure and engagement for the content outside the community. such an approach content distribution is probably the reason behind the sporadic activity. That said, the current levels of activity have helped maintain the high quality of content provided. Some new developments in the pipeline will further help to extend the reach of the community's content and inevitably the activity will increase. In terms of blog content, you'll find a mix of both. Gooruze allows you to syndicate your own blog (no need to re-write), providing exposure to the the community's members. But you'll also find members who use the personal/group blogs in Gooruze to post about topics and issues that might not fit within the context of their external blogs. That way, members get the best of both worlds. and as all syndicated content links back to the original post, there is also SEO benefits for syndicating here, not to mention great for building reputation in online marketing circles... July 26th I don't think it's the UI. See how many members have their own blogs? It takes time to write one, and even more time to keep it going. Blogs are good for SEO, for building your brand, for building your expertise - most bloggers will either have a stand-alone blog, or one that connects back to their own website (if they have one).
