The Hatchlings

What was the hardest/toughest thing to learn when you first started learning internet marketing? How did you overcome this?

No doubt everyone here probably knows this stuff already, but it always helps this hatchling to have a reference guide and to be exposed to the information multiple times, so I thought I would share this survival guide with everyone. How to get more members to this group? The value of sharing our experiences as we grow is one i'm personally all for.  I'm feeling it's the nature of the site that's got a low group membership count right now rather than the concept thereof.

I'll try reposting in the news section and see if we get any new response - and don't know if theres any way of doing this - but if we can get a spotlight in "featured group" might help a wee bit - i'll check that out.

Any other ideas  -feel free to try em out - there's no boss around here :)

Great idea here Alex. As a new marketer in a small company where I'm pretty much the only strategizer and tactician, having a group of like minded professionals to bounce ideas off of is just what i need.  Living in a vaccum can make innovation difficult.

on a scale of 1 to 10 about a FOUR!!!... (watch out for that ball...)
Besides pretending to speak Spanish well, a deep seeded level of sarcasm which few understand, and an overly analytical mind which wants to analyze way too much?  Nope...  none that I can think of (oh wait, if the surf is firing you're probably not going to be able to reach me.  Certainly a great habit for me, bad for those who need to reach me...)
