I'm also a veteran of the Gulf War (the original one). Let me clarify: I didn't go to the Gulf, but I was active military (Navy) during the engagement. That gets me a vet license plate, and an extra hot dog in the lunch line. For golf, I've played some of the big ones (Riviera, Cog Hill, Kemper Lakes, Spanish Bay, Bay Harbor, Arcadia Bluffs, Atunyote, Whistling Straits, etc.) I have pictures of some of them on Flickr (the more I dig into Flickr, the better it gets).
