If you know me at all you know I do a bit of chatting and ranting on Twitter. The more I use Twitter the more people I follow and the more great conversations I find myself a part of. These conversations have me sometimes as an integral part of and many times on the sideline as a listener. Either way I find some very interesting are covered on a daily basis and large number of links given out.

Lately there have been some interesting conversations in Twitter among many bloggers and others that “play” in social media.  I guess “play” is a bad word, but rather many that are deeply imersed in one way or another have been talking.

A link was dropped that caught my eye by @msaleem and I thank him and Chris who put this Top Digger list together.

The stuff they put on TV today makes me wonder and this was done in the name of “science”. I’m not quite sure who had the idea to do this but the people over at Sport Science really have a wicked sense of humor.

If you are squeemish from watching America’s Funniest Home Videos, I suggest you dont watch the video below.

It seems that users of T-Mobile are having issues with sending text messages to Twitter.

There are reports from Alternageek , CNET, and more at Getsatisfaction with Biz Stone commenting.  It is as if T-Mobile has blocked or shut down service to users trying to send messages to the Twitter.  Nothing like getting “unlimited” texting only to have the service you use it for get blocked.

My office is nearby a high school that has an open campus and many frequent the small bagel shop I do at lunch. While at eating lunch today I overheard some high school girls talking about this, that and some kid named “Jimmy”. Well I didnt over hear them so much as they were talking over everything else going on.

Today’s topic that caught my ear was: “Jimmy got grounded”. It seems that Jimmy (not his real name) was grounded for doing something and wasnt too happy about it. Im assuming he was smart and didnt put up a fight and risk a longer sentence. What he did do was turn on his PC/Mac and make a movie about how pissed he was regarding the whole ordeal.

So Pubcon 2007 has come and gone - and Im

happy and sad. I spent a long time in

Las Vegas and by the end of the week I was more then ready to go. I spent the following weekend catching up on email, sleep, laundry, sleep, and just being anti-social.

Pubcon is great in that everyone that goes knows (well just about everyone) their head from their ass. The conversations are on a different level while being very hush hush - most people dont say what company they work for or if they are even white/black/gray hat. And who cares? We are all there to learn and be social - they dont call it a Pubcon for nothing.

So what did I learn? Im still not sure but I have a lot to read (all the sessions I missed) and I was able to see some friends I hadnt seen in a year or two. What more can a guy ask for?

The weekend is upon us and a busy one for me it will be. The following is my schedule (well some of it) so follow along at home and maybe I will run into you. As the holidays approach it seems there is less and less time to just sit back and relax. Hell, here it is late on a Friday and I am writing this - and many of you will be traveling on your Sunday to come to this great cold town of Chicago. For those of you coming into town for SES - may it be warmer then it was last year.
