January 2008 Thanks David - a very interesting read. I'm sure my brother in law who loves a good conspirancy theory would eat this up. Of course the cyncial view of facebook is not entirely new but the CIA link & venture funding mafia - that's news to me. I have to admit having read the post, facebook will never be the same to me. I can see the power facebook could have if it took over....but I also have to wonder how far will it penetrate...will interest fade or be dumped for something new? I reflect on my own personal experience I started off as a facebook addict but it's appeal is fading rapidly - of course that could just be my age and spending all my spare time on gooruze
