| Hi! My name is Melinda and I specialize in SEO and SEM. My niche so to speak is target marketing and user psychology. I love to figure out the who, what, when, where, why, and how a visitor finds a site and uses the site. This helps me better understand how to move forward with a campaign, on-site structure, and organic results. I can't say I'm seasoned in the industry, but I'm not a noob either. We all have lots to learn from each other and I'm glad to have found another social network of online marketers. In the beginning... I graduated from Devry University with my BS in CIS. Knew that programming was not right for me, and actually fell into a "data entry" job at a small company in Anaheim Hills, CA doing directory submits. With my tech background, I got curious to find out exactly what I was doing. I'm sure you can see where the story is going... It didn't even take 3 months of those directory submits for me to nearly pull my hair out at the boredom I was experiencing. Decided to utilize my down time to learn more and more about SEO. After I got the in's and out's down, I proposed to be moved up positions within the company and they agreed I was a good canidate. That was my first SEO job. Had to move in Dec 06 and came across the current company I am working for now. With this job, I no longer had a stream line check list to work through with each of my clients, I was free to experiment and take myself beyond the basics. And that's when I fell in love... Now.... I work for a company in Scottsdale AZ and titled as Director of Online Marketing or aka SEO Goddess. To be continued... | ||
