A bit of an old timer in hi-tech marketing, I've seriously been bitten by the SEM bug. That said, I am excited to be attending the U of WA Masters in Marketing program and seriously excited about spending time in the beautiful state of Western Australia. While here, I hope to meet a lot of you on gooruze and be an active member of this forum. I plan to spend a lot of this year studying SEM and other forms of emarketing... 25 Jan http://www.imediaconnection.com/content/18141.asp Looks like Google is upping the ante with their "Knol" project... I haven't checked it out yet but certainly sounds like there's a plan to "privatize" what Wikipedia currently delivers... but will Knol be as successful for Google? If anyone could make it successful, it would have to be Google... that said, I think Wikipedia offers a great service as it is relatively unbiased source of information and would hold up well to this competitive offering.
