| I was born in Shreveport,La. and raised in Arkansas. I was raised by my grandparents who survived (with nothing) the Great Depression. They told many stories about The Good Times which weren't so good. If put on paper their story would rival The Grapes of Wrath. I obtained a B.S. in History with a minor in Journalism from Southern Arkansas University in 1973. I have two sons who light up my soul and three grandchildren who are not the least bit spoiled! ( yeah right!). I am a writer who enjoys many genres. I have written children's stories, information articles and adult fiction. Right now my biggest goal is to write a novel or novelette on my late husband's life. I have currently hired a Private Investigation to find out more about where he was and lived after the time he disappeared in 1957 and when I first knew him in 1973. Besides writing I enjoy internet marketing,fishing, photography, shooting, gardening and taking care of animals. I have been a Pet Groomer and raised Brittany's for many years while I ran a private kennel. I enjoy working from home and am a bit shy when it comes to meeting people.
