So we thought of giving Alexa a visit. We don’t really rely on the Alexa rank as we assume ReapMoneyOnline’s intended audience don’t bother with the Yahoo or Alexa toolbar. Okay, we took out the word “alternative” since this project has the potential to be a major online advertising tool for bloggers. It’s a new twist to the old concept of selling text links and banner advertisements. ScratchBack is selling itself as an “online tipping system” instead of an advertising program. The idea is if we want to tip a blogger for his efforts, we can buy a link or ad space instead. However, it’s not really a link-back we are buying as a NoFollow tag is hardcoded into all links and images.
