| I am a late starter in online marketing not even knowing the first thing about HTML or FTP until about 5 years ago. I've built and managed a few of my own websites wit the goal of eventually establishing a full-time business based on affiliate marketing. Right now I work in business development and account service for a traditional ad agency which hampers my ability to devote the time that is really required to get things to a point where I can work online full time. I am absorbing everything I can about SEO and SEM with the intention of applying these skills for my own benefit but with the thought that there may be an opportunity to do this work on a freelance basis for small businesses.
