11 Nov From new.com.au In a radical plan, the NSW Police is going to force drivers who get their cars confiscated under anti hoons laws, to first watch their car being crushed and then have the video posted on YouTube. I am all for stopping speeding drivers and helping people see the consequences. My fear with this is, is that it will provide a hoon driver with their 15 minutes of fame and make them into a "hero" with their friends. The real way to stop speeding drivers is more police on the street, creating a visual presense to reenforce the use of speed cameras (and not the other way round).
