After recently allowing search engines to index brief versions of their members profiles, Facebook have now opened up application pages to the search engine spiders. Search engines will be able to no only crawl the "about" information for each application, but also users comments.

They have attempted to preserve user privacy by only displaying member first names and images to people not logged into Facebook. This is obviously an attempt to encourage more application development...What will they open up next?

But I thought that you had to be logged in to view FaceBook pages? Does this change that?
