Yea... clicking the news link is a great way to learn stuff.

For those who read the comments before clicking the link like I did, It was to support a local energy conservation campaign.

What's funny about that is that Google chooses the locations for it's data centers based on their proximity to power plants with excess capacity. Yea, it takes that much power to cool those servers. Running the servers isn't even all that bad compared to the cooling them.

I joke I love "The Google." I'm excited as to what they will do as their power increases.
