It makes sense...these days...i have better success contacting some people through facebook than through their email. Considering people can control their communications better in social networks...this trend is sure to continue.

You are writing about the demise of email, because of social networks, and I recently wrote an article about how email gave birth to social networks. The assumption flaw is that people go to social networks to send/receive e-mail with every visit. Often there is no e-mail contact, just checking, linking, surfing and generally wasting the boss's time and money.
