November 2007 I have tried creating pages that this person supposedly has already created and it let me. I'm confused.
POST NOTE: "Facebook pages are different than domain names. In domain names, there can only be one KleinerPerkins.com However, there can be any number of Facebook pages that have the name Kleiner Perkins, such like there can be any number of people named Carl Perkins. It is up to the user to sort out which is the “real” Kleiner Perkins or Carl Perkins among all the others." So the page that has Microsoft as the admin will enable the user to know that is the real Microsoft page. Reply

November 2007 Yes, multiple facebook pages are allowed with the same name which is very confusing and I think will create spam and other problems. And since the Admin is not listed, it's hard to distinguish unfortunately.
For example, I read on Mashable yesterday there are at least 2 other Mashable pages that are not affiliated with the site but they have since created an official one: mashable.com/2007/11/12/facebook-pages-poll/ Reply
