November 2007 Hey Matt, great name btw. Thanks for picking up on the news, it has certainly created some global interest. As one of the heads of Viva9, more than happy to help explain how it works. Zero commission will apply to all sales-based campaigns, as we feel that they are becoming increasingly commoditised esp in the UK, so prefer to give more back to the publishers, and generate more sales for merchants that way. This is our way of announcing ourselves to the UK market, and we fervently hope that once advertisers and publishers have worked with us in the UK and Europe, they will use some of our other services (for which we will charge). Essentially we are taking a long-term view of the UK and European market, and want to be a major player, rather than a 'me-too' network where we join the end of a long queue.
