Interesting news piece on Yahoo woes by Barrons Technology Trader. Worth a read, here is a snippet.. Jeffrey Lindsay, Internet analyst at Bernstein Research, contends that the company seems more and more befuddled. "It is becoming increasingly difficult to put a positive spin on Yahoo's continuing misfortunes," he wrote in a research note last week. He offers 3 strategies for Yahoo revival plan: Part one: team up with Microsoft in the search market. "They would gain the scale to become more attractive to advertisers." Part two of his Yahoo revival plan: The company must reduce its reliance on conventional Web display advertising by building up the Right Media Exchange, its online ad network The third part of his plan would be the most painful: Yahoo should cut its workforce by 20%. | ||||||||
