February 2008 I'm not sure this is an accurate 'state of the union' on social networks. My guess is that, internet-wide, revenues on social networks are up - but across mega networks like Facebook, MySpace and others, they are down. That's because new social networks that are niche targeted are popping up everywhere. Why join a huge network when you can simply join those groups you are most interested in?
