Having finalized the DoubleClick deal, Google has launched a new free Ad Manager, a hosted ad management solution that can help website owners sell, schedule, deliver, and measure all of their directly-sold and network-based ad inventory.

according to Google's help guide, it provides features to help with:

Inventory management
Yield optimization
Ad targeting
Trafficking, ad delivery, and order booking
Creatives and rich media management
Reporting
User interface navigation
Account administration

The new Ad Manager will incorporate Google's existing AdSense service, providing publishers with more ad options to maximize their returns and streamline the process of finding the optimal mix.
