Introducing... Ecocho- the (self-proclaimed) very first green search engine that the world has ever known.
They claim that some of the revenue they generate will be used to buy carbon offsets- saying that “up to two trees” will be sponsored for every 1,000 searches on the site.
My question- Will riding on the wave of the "green movement" actually make any difference to its success? I would be interested to hear your views. | |||||||

April 22nd Update: Google has dropped Ecocho- no longer allowing them to use Google search technology. http://www.ecocho.com.au/google/index.php So this leaves them just with Yahoo search. Think this will certainly decrease the value of Ecocho as a useful search engine. Reply
