This article is quite recent- it talks about how consumer's privacy is being invaded by the threat of mobile phone virus. It starts by the consumer engaging in an activity with their mobile phone, it might be purchasing movie tickets or doing online banking- it captures sensitive consumer data and using it to send them inappropriate content, causing loss of important information stored on their mobile handsets and fraudulent bill increases. This problem also led to mobile malfunction (caused by malware automatically loaded onto their mobile phone). This trend is increasing operators say and consumers need to be more careful about what websites they visit on their mobile phone and to be absolutely sure they are dealing with the 'right' people when buying things off their mobile. This, in my opinion, is a way of giving unatuhorized third parties the power to engage in fradulent activities such as sending marketing messages without consumers' knowledge or permission.
