Is this technically possible? For all I know it might already exist. I'd like to be able to keep an eye on multiple sites at the same time - not necessarily Web 2.0 sites either - and all on the one screen. Not just talking about having lists of RSS feeds - that would be easy enough to set up with a service such as Feed Digest and using a table to arrange a display of multiple digests. Not just talking about arranging multiple browser windows in a big monitor, although that's basically the effect I'd like to create. For example, I want to see what's happening at Gooruze news, Port80 forums, WebProNews, Boxes and Arrows , Australian web and IT news and maybe my Outlook inbox, all in the one place and without needing to open and close windows or browser tabs. | ||

October 2007 If you're using Firefox, this might help: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4287

October 2007 You can do a lot with services such as Netvibes - for most services that have an API it has a module.
The big problem would be Outlook, not any of the online services. Reply

October 2007 James...one way of doing this that i like is a service called buzka...essentially a clever social bookmarking service...it allows you to create a left hand side navigation of your bookmarks and the main section of the browser window becomes your active page...that way you can flick through your various sites and services without having to have multiple browser sessions or tabs...
it might not be the most savvy way to achieve what you're after, but hopefully it'll get the job done Reply

October 2007 Here's something I just read about sort of along those lines: www.webware.com/8301-1_109-9800959-2.html
