Has anyone been a beta tester for I Want Sandy? I just came across it today and I'm intrigued. I signed up but they are just adding people to a list for later.

Here's what the website says
  • Turn your “email to self” into an actual to-do — and get it done.
  • Maintain an up-to-date address book without even trying.
  • Get appointments into your calendar without wasting time cutting and pasting.
  • Automatically gather the web addresses friends email to you.
Does this sound useful or does this sound like another one of those cool things that you don't really need.

Wow, what a co-incidence, I know the founders wife!!! Anything that Rael is doing is worth checking out and anything to do with the painful problem of email is also worth looking at.

I got my beta today, but haven't started.  Between Plaxo, Remember the Milk and too many Google and work accounts, I'm wondering if signing up for the beta was wise.  Anyone want anything in terms of putting it through its paces?  I'll probably load it up tomorrow or Friday.

got the beta invite through yesterday. Put simply - you receive a special email address that you add as a cc on all outgoing emails or that you email specifically when you want to remember something/create a "to-do"/new appointment etc.

the system then stores these emails and uses the details within them to generate contact lists, create reminders, calendar events and so. you can then access all this information from the site...and set up email alerts, vCal's

considering software such as outlook, or even Google's range of  online apps does most of this, not seeing the real value in it for me. Seems like a lot of double handling.
