What do you think is the best way to optimize for search engines, if you have a url  that forwards to an affiliate site, or an aStore on Amazon?

Can you explain further what you are trying to do?  It sounds like you are trying to trick the engines, merchants, and customers by trying to optimize a parked URL to generate affiliate sales.

Yea it kinda sounded the same to me Al.

Not sure if you are going to get the kind of feasible results out of this you initially had in mind.

No... not at all.  I'd just like to promote a simple url instead of a long affiliate link.

For instance... in my case we have www.buy-legos.com and I have it going to http://astore.amazon.com/legoadven-20 .
No one will remember that latter link.

So... I'd like to use the buy-legos.com as both a call to action, a keyword phrase, and have it point directly to the amazon store.
I've submitted buy-legos.com to some directories, but have not seen much movement.
