November 2007 Hi Brian
Thanks for that. I tried to sign up and it is asking for a Google API key... and from this research i did, it looks like Google stopped giving out Google API keys as of Dec 5th 2006. It sounds like I and new users can't use this tool? Clay Reply

November 2007 Rene,
Is it really working for you. I have been able to sign up, but when I add a keyword, I get the following error... Exception from service object: Invalid authorization key: ABQIAAAAh91PFbf7bENSGV6tq6XFbRTe5B8PAjl9VswwGC ARt4OvctYRmxRfULRwB9w1CqZQ2z18O73ulacLxw Reply

November 2007 DOH!
I guess not :( Hmm.. Don't know of any other free ones. I use WEBCeo at work, costs a couple hundred bucks a year. Does a fine job. SmallBiz Edition only $199 USD (one time fee, plus subscription fee) Professional Edition only $389 USD Reply

November 2007 I'm a user of WebCEO and it does a pretty good job at finding the search results as you described. The only downfall, like with any other 'rank checker' is that the positioning is off a few positions at times. Where you may be ranking position #4 for a particular term, it will tell you that you are ranking #11. I'm very picky about my tools being exact. I always do hand searches for my clients when dealing with their top competitive terms.
