WordPress 2.3.1

I upgraded one blog and it messed up a lot of the formatting and it deleted some content.

I have yet to do the others.

I did upgrade, I went from 2.0 to 2.3 and I havent had any problems with it. They crushed a bunch of bugs and added some cool new features to the post edit bar.

If your worried about your plugins checkout wordpress.org 2.3 compatible plugins. Plus a lot of the decent plugins have  since been updated to work with it.

Um, I did a complete re-install and it went perfectly. I created an export file of my complete blog, deleted it from the server, uploaded 2.3 went through the initial setup, imported my export file and was done. The whole process took me about an hour and I cant tell you how glad I am that I did.

Wow, sounds like I work for them or something... I dont , just wanted to tell you how well it went for me, I thought it was going to be a pain and it wasnt.

Thanks for th4 input. I successfully just upgraded mine. I backup the database and upgraded all plugins first and then upgraded and it worked well. I went from 2.2.2 to 2.3.1.

 

nope. I don't buy into upgrading all the time. However, my blog isn't one that I really worry about intrusions with. Maybe if I had more traffic.
