Maybe these questions have been addressed elsewhere, but I can't seem to locate the answers: 1. Does the text editor take valid HTML code? 2. I was trying to figure out of the editor would take HTML code so I saved a few articles as drafts and then went back to preview and got this message, "This Article has been disabled. Site administrators will be reviewing the article and approving or rejecting it shortly." Did entering HTML code trigger this? 3. If I delete an article, which I have done casue I didn't realize that in the main page view it only showed four articles and I got duplicates, can I delete the deleted article reference so I don't have to look at it. I know I am anal. A couple usage questions. I am a little confused (it happens all the time) by how a few items in the system are supposed to be used. Normally I'd just post something and if it didn't work the way I thought I'd delete it. Not sure if I would be able to do that and I don't want to muck up the system. 1. How are Lounge posts supposed to be used? Is that a way to start a threaded conversation that people can see without visiting my profile? 2. How is the Blog function supposed to work? I assume it is a way to start to have multiple posts within my profile page. 3. I assume the News feature is such that I should just write a short blurb and link to any news article I think might be of interest to the community. Thanks for taking the time to read. I don't mean to be dense in asking these questions, I just want to make sure I use the system as intended from the start. | ||

November 2007 Hi Tommy,

November 2007 These are great questions, Tommy. I'll take a stab at a couple of them, and hope others will jump in for the rest.
Lounge -- this is for off-topic/water cooler type posts. You might write something more casual and relaxed here, as opposed to the more formal Articles or Blog posts (which must be on-topic to online marketing). Blog -- this is where you'd write something not quite as lengthy as a formal Article, but still on-topic to online marketing. Many of us that already have blogs can use the Gooruze blog to pull in posts from our other blog. News - this is for posting of hard news and announcements related to online marketing. You probably wouldn't post here if you just wanted to link to some helpful How To article (that would be better on your blog), but you would post in News if you find an article about Google declaring bankruptcy, or Ask.com becoming the dominant search engine. :-) I hope this helps!
