November 2007 In short, I would define the two as follows:
Landing Page: A page that is designated to a particular website that is inside that website. That is, a landing page is not necessarily the home page and most times it is a page that a publisher intends his visitors to go. The motives of this page are usually NOT to sell something, but instead, to give valuable information to the visitor. and a... Squeeze Page oe sales Page: Is a deliberate page that acts as an intermediate between a publishers product or service and his customers. Many times, a squeeze page will be an entity in itself in that it will not be apart of a website. Squeeze pages tend to have their own URL, as opposed to Landing pages are usually just a page inside of a website (www.yoururl.com/landingpage) Hope that wasn't too confusing! :) Reply
