best blogs? design and features

I really like clean and serene blogs where the content speaks for itself, and there aren't a lot of graphics, ads, or anything else.  Aesthetically, my favorite blog is Divine Write.  It's simple, and that's why I like it the most.  I think it's important to be able to search the archives by month and by tags (and by authors if you have more than one).  Just some ideas.  Good luck!

thanks michelle...there's nothing like good use of white space.

 agree that is important to be able to search through archives by date and category, but our date archive is that old that it takes up half the RHS side...I will need to find the most effective way to manage large archives.
