I'm in the middle of setting up a list of keywords for a client that wishes to target individual languages. Does anyone have advice on setting up translated keywords? Would translated ads be enough?

-set them up in their own campaigns
-translated words simply don't work. you need a basic understanding to really get a good keyword list. you might try to get someone at a local college to do a bit of work for you. i used a TA to do some base work...then i was able to flesh out the lists.

To add to Dan's comment, a great example is the term "cell phones."  You may translate it, but many countries are more familiar with the term "mobile phones."  There may be variations of terms you are unfamiliar with unless someone from that area can assist you with proper terminology.
