January 2nd Hi, I see Clay Cook's answer has "been reported." Or was it my question?
Let me rephrase please: I Twitter and that updates content to my blog frequently. Though not posts per say, they are updates to my blog. So, does Google treat this as fresh content and thus cause my blog to be indexed more frequently? Again I don't know why this thread appears to be red-flagged; please explain moderators in my comments. Many thanks, Vince Bank. Reply

January 3rd It's an interesting idea Vince...syndication of your tweets is definitely adding fresh content to your blog, which in theory should encourage more regular indexing by Google. But having done some searches for your tweets in the google index, use long tail searches, i'm not sure they are there long enough to get indexed as actual content.
It could be a case that Google's algo is just indexing regularly updated blogs more frequently. there's been much discussion about Google's ranking of fresh blog content recently (Big algo change at google...), but that aside, I've noticed other blogs that are being indexed quicker than normal which i think is just a reflection of a change in spidering activity. January 2nd re: reported comment - looks like you may have reported the comment by pressing "report" link instead of the "reply" link. Anyway, I have voted to clear it.

January 2nd i am assuming you are referring to your twitter posts?
i think we all need a little more info. are you asking if when you tweet and link to your blog, if this type of activity helps your blog pagerank? Reply

January 2nd Cool. Glad I'm not in violation.
Sorry about that. I still am very curious: Do tweets (Twitter posts pulled through dynamically to my blog) tell Google this is fresh content? Or, must a blog post be an actual post to influence indexing of one's blog? Again, sorry all and Clay for the confusion! Vince Reply
