January 2008 Namedrive is great. Even just to park the site and get revenues from ads. Great looking portals or one click ads. Check out my link http://www.namedrive.com/?ref=42859sS. These are the types of portals youcan expect this is mine www.insurancequoteaustralia.com Cheers Wil Reply

January 2008 I am curious in this as well.
I know sedo.com is a decent place, but never had any great success with them. Reply

January 2008 I guess SEDO and Moniker are the two big ones for auction-style names. I've used SEDO more, sold one name through them, bid on some others. I like their escrow and the transfer. Afternic is supposedly the biggest, and I think their fees are less than the others, but I don't hear about lots of activity there.
SEDO was relatively easy to use, and the fees weren't awful. I guess the bigger news is this whole Network Solutions buying names that are looked up at their site. I know Andy reported it with some cites and so have a bunch of the domaining blogs and forums. For me, what I said yesterday holds is more true than ever. Either be a domain speculator or buy them with business plans. In addition to domains, I wonder about good sites to sell and value content-based sites. I know the domain sites say they handle both, but I can't imagine they're equally good at domain parking and built out site valuation. Reply
