 I met a guy yesterday who was telling me about the World Internet Summit and saying that I should go because all the world's leading internet experts will be there. I'd never heard of it, so I just tried searching for it and all I can find is what I call 'spam' - ie sites that are just sales letters, and a site that looks a little dodgy. Have you heard of this event? Would you recommend it? Can anyone find the real site to this event which doesn't look like my definition of being a bit of a spam website? | ||

http://www.worldinternetsummit.com Yes I've heard of it, but like you, question the caliber of the event based on the cheesy landing page and redirect - I also don't know of anyone that is presenting there. It looks like some sort of product launch seminar for then to gather JV affiliates. Traveling there based on that page just seems silly..  Reply

Apparently some guy called Steven Pierce is supposed to be there. I've never heard of him, but apparently he's "the best"? What's a JV Afiliate? Reply

April 3rd Stephen Pierce - isn't that the guy who you said your friend complained about being dodgey? If so, it's probably one of those people nowadays that try to sell you stuff that costs $2000 when the real value once you join is like $10.

April 3rd Hi, yes my friend did complain about Pierce being a little dodgy. It was funny actually, cos she said people (his students, I guess) are actually challenging what he says. If he's the "World's Best Internet Marketer" I fear for all the other internet marketers out there...
