May 8th I've installed the SEOQuake one, but it makes my Firefox run really slow. I also use SearchStatus in Firefox. Reply

April 22nd SEOquake is the most indispensable and versatile plug-in I know of for Firefox. Lots of good ones, including Aarons above (SEOtools.com) but this one goes on even my wife and kids computer for quick research. Reply

April 22nd have you had any problems with SEOquake? jonbish pointed out it could cause Google to mark your IP address as spam (this is the URL he rpovided earlier in teh conversation: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/reviews/display/3036). A few people have recommended it and I have it installed but I'm a little concerned it may cause problems. Reply

April 17th I have SEO for FireFox on my work computer, but I don't use it that often any more. It's described as giving you SEO results for Google and Yahoo. So as you can see there is some limitation there. I'm not even sure why I have it on my computer, now that I think about it! Reply

April 16th one extension I use is RankChecker - its great. You build up keyword lists and check their rankings in Google and other engines. The link is http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker/. You can even schedule these to run. All the data can be exported too. Reply

April 17th Thanks Graham, I have downloaded the Rank Checker plug in. How often do you schedule these to run? I only ask as there is a warning it may cause some engines to temporarily block you for scraping data if you set the intervals to 0 for example. I have to admit in my naivity I have panicked and set it to a 10 second delay between queries it's a company website I'm running it for and so I don't want to inadvertantly have us blocked (feel free to laugh at my expense I dont mind looking stupid the only way I can learn is to risk looking silly and ask). April 17th The video demo that went with the add-on suggested 2 second delay so that's what I've set on mine. Haven't had any problems so far. Reply

April 16th Vicki - Pole Position Marketing has a big list of Cool FireFox Extensions I don't use them all, but a couple of my favorites are Web Developer, Screen Grab, Firefox Environment Backup Extentsion (FEBE) and X-Ray Viewer.

April 17th Wow, thanks Diana, I had no idea there were so many Firefox extensions for SEO & SEM. I already have the Web Developer Extension (thanks to a previous incarnation as a Web Developer), but I'll be adding some of the others. This may be slightly off topic but a colleague of mine sent me a link to a site which has a grid design Firefox extension, the link is: http://www.puidokas.com/portfolio/gridfox/. I've downloaded it but haven't had chance to put it to the test yet, you never know it may help some Gooruze members. Reply

April 16th I never had this problem however it seems a lot of other people have. It seems that certain SEO plugins that make calls to Google are causing Google to mark that users IP address as spam. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/reviews/display/3036 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/reviews/display/4589 It may be that i haven't had this problem because I only used these plugins for a short time. I rely more on my content to naturally acquire links back to the site and have been extremely successful. Reply

April 16th Hi Jon, Thanks for this I had heard about similar problems but wasn't sure which Firefox plugins would cause them I really appreciate the links, especially as I've just added SEOQuake to Firefox!
