Does anyone know if I can do the following, if so, how?

Hypothetically speaking If I have a domain name 'xyz.com'. And this domain wins on the term xyz. Part of the reason it could be winning is because it has the term "xyz" in the URL.  But I also want it to win on the term "abc" . Although I have the term abc mentioned on the page a couple of times, it still does not win on abc. Would setting up a URL abc.com and forwarding that to xyz.com while keeping the address abc,com in the address bar help?

My question would be what are you actually trying to do? Maybe your keywords are too narrow and theres something that could capture both at the same time and create a theme for your xyz.com website.

I don't think it will help however it wouldn't hurt. I have magicommcms.com and magiccomm.biz redirecting to magicomm.biz with 301 redirects. The search engines don't pick them them up because technically there is nothing to pick up. My fear would be that if i had multiple domains pointing to the same place Google would mark one or the other (or both) off as duplicate content and ultimately mark me down.
