Everyone is very much familiar with 'www', the word preceding any domain name. As it was used to direct an application to the right service like web, mail, ftp, etc on the right server.

Want to know

whether to continue applying 'www' before the domain name or not !

Consistency is the most important.  If you already have incoming links to your site or if you are already indexed in Google as one preferred method (do a search for your domain and see how they list it) you will be best off staying consistent.  As a rule of thumb I normally use 'www' however on a few sites I work with that are subdomains (sub.domain.com) I notice its more common to forget the 'www' when linking.  Both methods produce similarly great results in the SERPS.

people are more conditioned to seeing the www ... I say stick with it.

But whatever you do, be consistent - if half the links to your site have www and half don't .. that's wasted google juice.
