hey all,
v interested in your feedback / ideas….
last month our small crew launched a new website called LiveSalary (http://www.livesalary.com.au/).
The site’s free to everyone, and in essence it relies upon user generated content to allow Australians to exchange salary data anonymously ...
‘You tell me what you earn and in return you see what other people like you earn’ is the premise.
The aim was to create something fluid and a little more useful than the traditional one dimensional paper-based salary survey.
Now it's launched, we're debating how's best to spread the word on a shoe string budget.
Initially we need to attract people to help us by entering their salary … and in return as the salary database grows to 30, 40, 50,000+ salaries they would have helped develop a useful research resource for all Australians. That’s our dream anyway.
So, that’s where you come in fellow marketing gurus! Any ideas on how best to get the word out there?
Is there viral potential? Should be focus on PR? Welcome any thoughts.
Thanks for your help!
