regulations for sending newsletter  anonymous  Hey, are there regulations, laws in the USA for sending newsletters??? here in germany you have to do douple-opt-in. How is it in U.S.??? thank you for your help best regards (sorry for mistakes, i come from germany) Pascal | ||

October 28th Pascal, I own a social media company in san diego, and we mail out to homes and business. We looked into it slightly and there are no concrete laws that state that you cant do mailings, the problem we had is legally acquiring mailing addersses. Once you acquire them then you are allowed to mail without any problems. Business on the other hand you can spam mail with no problem.
